What ate O.R.S Hydration Blackcurrant Tablets?
O.R.S is a soluble tablet that contains a scientifically balanced formula of glucose, electrolytes and essential minerals which when added to water may be used to replenish the body's water and electrolytes and thereby help to maintain a healthy fluid balance in children and adults.
Dehydration can be caused by many things, such as:
Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Diabetes
Heatstroke
Sweating from exercise
Drinking too much alcohol
Taking medication which makes you need to toilet often
Having a high temperature
O.R.S soluble tablets could help you rehydrate after any of these.
Warnings and Precautions
Not suitable for use by anyone under the age of 3 years unless advised by a GP.
Do not use if:
You are allergic to any of the ingredients these tablets contain.
This product should not be used by those who have intestinal obstruction (blocked bowel), or liver or kidney problems.
Speak to your GP or Pharmacist before use if:
You have diabetes
You are on a low sodium diet
You are on a low potassium diet
You are pregnant or breastfeeding

How do I take O.R.S Hydration Blackcurrant Tablets?
Dosage:
Add TWO tablets to 200ml of drinking water and allow to dissolve completely.
Adults and children aged 6 years and older: drink 200ml (2 tablets)
Children aged 6 years and under drink 10ml of solution per kg of body weight.
Children aged 2 years and younger: consult your doctor or pharmacist before using in infants up to 2 years old.
What are the side effects of O.R.S Hydration Blackcurrant Tablets?
O.R.S Hydration tablets do not usually have any side effects.
However, if you have any concerns or queries regarding any side effects this medicine has caused or could cause you can call your GP or our pharmacist.
If you have any severe side effects stop use immediately and seek medical assistance as soon as possible.
