Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray is an antiseptic spray used to relieve pain, soreness, or discomfort in the mouth or throat. It is a generic version of Difflam Spray and contains the same active ingredient, benzydamine, which helps to numb the affected area and reduce inflammation.

Benzydamine hydrochloride is a locally acting treatment used to provide fast relief from pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat. It is the generic version of the popular brand Difflam, containing the exact same active medicine to treat soreness and swelling.
Benzydamine works in two ways: it acts as an anti-inflammatory to reduce swelling and redness, and it provides a mild local anaesthetic (numbing) effect. This dual action targets the source of the pain while providing a soothing sensation to the affected area.
Benzydamine spray begins to work almost immediately upon contact with the throat or mouth. For ongoing relief, it is typically used every 1.5 to 3 hours, or as directed by the label. Always follow the dosage instructions provided with your specific spray to ensure safe use.
Yes. Benzydamine is highly effective for various conditions, including sore throats, painful mouth ulcers, and teething/gum pain. It is also frequently used to soothe irritation caused by dental work or discomfort from wearing dentures.
