Avoid the disappointment, embarrassment, and anxiety of premature ejaculation with the right treatment

Feb 08, 2021 Premature Ejaculation

The ecstasy of orgasm, or its absence or premature arrival, is often a forbidden (or embarrassing) subject for most people, but the impact it has on the well-being of a relationship should never be underestimated.

Fulfilment on a sexual front is extremely important for both parties in a relationship and the experience of an orgasm plays a vital role, but sometimes small problems like premature ejaculation can lead to big issues over a long period.

Understanding premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation usually occursduring sexual activity when a man reaches a sexual climax earlier than anticipated. How and when it happens, may differ from one man to another, but medical professionals have discovered that it occurs mostly within the first two minutes after arousal and that it affects both parties negatively, in that itdisrupts their normal sexual activities. Some men ever experience feelings of anxiety because of it.

To develop a healthy attitude around sexuality, it is important for both men and women to properly address the occurrences of problems or challenges like premature ejaculation, and not to allow them to ruin their marriage or relationship.

What do studies reveal?

In a comprehensive study, 7000 men from five countries were asked which aspect of their sex life is most important. The average answer highlighted an important facet of their own experience - the intensity and duration. This preference places high demands on women, because physically it is more difficult for a woman to reach an orgasm, and the necessary stimulation takes much longer than for a man and as a result, simultaneous orgasm is not always reached.

Many men around the world struggle with premature ejaculation or struggle to hold out long enough to please his partner. Often, one of the best ways to give a man better control over his ejaculation is to give him some sex exercises, but sometimes treatment can also help solve the problem.

What are the causes?

Although there appears to be no clear causes orindication of symptoms, there are a few guidelines that may indicate the presence of premature ejaculation, such as the fact that it may occur frequently and not once-off. While most men are mortified when it occurs, it does not mean they are suffering from erectile dysfunction, and the good news is that it can be successfully treated.

Can premature ejaculation be treated?

However, before taking to self-treatment, it is advised that you seek medical help from your health practitioner first, to determine if there are any possible medical, psychological or lifestyle causes. If your doctor is satisfied that there are no exact causes, he can prescribe medication to treat premature ejaculation, such as Priligy (Dapoxetine).

This treatment belongs to a class of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (or SSRI’s) which can aid with performance anxiety. It also actively encourages a delay in ejaculation during sexual activity. While it is difficult for men to talk about premature ejaculation or seek medical help, Dapoxetine is available from selected online pharmacies in the UK.
