Hay fever season is back once again. Although many of us will welcome the sun and warm weather the spring season brings us, for some of us this also brings uncomfortable allergies.

Hay fever medications come in various forms; Tablets, Nasal sprays, Eye drops and Balms to name the most common. Tablets are best at covering symptoms which are widespread, you may be suffering with itchy eyes, runny nose or sneezing and tickly throat. Provides fast relief from blocked nose. It starts working in as little as a few minutes and effects can last up to 10 hours. Best used for short term temporary relief as prolonged use can cause reversal of symptoms, leading to further nose blocks.

Corticosteroid Nasal Sprays

These provide longer term relief from hay fever symptoms. These work best for symptoms such as blocked nose, sneezing and runny noses. So, you can carry on using it throughout the pollen season and be rest assured your nasal discomfort will be kept at bay.

There is a third type of nasal spray which is becoming ever more popular. These are drug free, and are suitable for those who may be on other medication or have conditions which may prevent use of the above two types.
